In the framework of the project “Together Building Resilience”, funded by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund), the training cycle for social empowerment in the village of Rahovica in the municipality of Ferizaj continues.
This training promotes the social and economic empowerment of women and emphasizes the importance of social networks among women, as well as solidarity.
These two groups will then continue the cycle of professional training in beekeeping. Trainers for social empowerment in Rahovica are Zejnepe Selimi and Gjylere Morina.
The UN Trust Fund is the only global grant-making mechanism dedicated exclusively to addressing all forms of violence against women and girls at local and national levels. To date, the UN Trust Fund has supported 572 organizations in 140 countries and territories.
