Start-up and women-run businesses are generally smaller, quite widespread in the informal sector, and less likely to operate in value-added sectors with growth potential. Therefore, the ultimate goal of WOB grants is to increase the employment and self-employment of women in order to improve the position of women in Kosovo's economy.
