June 25, 2020: Edona Demaj - Salihu is the owner of Eco Kos L.L.C. company. This company is the first company licensed for the waste management of cooking oil. Following the international practices of the green economy in 2018, Eco Kos introduced an innovative waste management system - the collection, transportation, storage and physical treatment of used plant based oils. Edona, as the female leader of such a special business in our country, managed to be appointed the executive director of the company in 2019. She has completed her basic studies at the University of Prishtina, Department of Figurative Art as well as the Mass Communication studies. He also completed her MA studies in Mass Communication.

Thanks to her work, Edona has managed to benefit from the startup grant through the "Women's Opportunities in Market, Economy and Networking (WOMEN)" , and is funded by the German Government through GIZ Kosovo has managed to increase its business management capacities through training.
